I’ve also appreciated the toughness of the added panels and section and see how those will allow for longer use and abuse. I’ve warn the hoodie in warmer weather, windy (it worked better then expected actually), and some rain/snow but not all day in that condition.
My honest thought…I should buy another the size bigger so I can layer on those days that’s needed.

JHigh Quality HoodieI absolutely love the power air hoodie. It’s very lightweight but also super strong. Just putting it on I can tell the level of detail and quality that went into it. It’s a hefty price tag for a hoodie, but once I received mine and put it on I could tell why. The quality of materials, the rip stop material in all the right places and the raised pouch are just great designs.

Construction
The Polartec® Power Air® that makes up the majority of the DB Power Air Hoodie is constructed in a way that sheds up to 80% less microfibers compared to conventional high-quality fleece. The lofty fibers that trap heat are knitted into pockets of air that prevent fibers from leaking out during wash or use. The DB Power Air Hoodie is made from recycled polyester waste that can be recycled again at the end of its lifetime. Textiles are a highly wasteful industry, but this is a great step towards a zero-waste system.
Power Air® is light, stretchy and has a great warmth-to-weight ratio. The DB Power Air Hoodie is a highly functional garment that can be worn alone or as a layering piece with our Polartec® Power Wool® Long Sleeve.
Durability
For maximum durability on the job, we combined the Power Air® with a Dyneema reinforced ripstop, Dymondshield™. Dyneema® is half the weight of nylon and ten times stronger than steel by weight. Both the Power Air and the Dymondshield™ are BlueSign® certified fabrics.
Innovation
We also set the kangaroo pocket at a height that allows access while wearing a tool belt and designed the hood adjustments without dangling strings or cords that can get trapped in equipment and cause job-site injuries.
