I balked at the price of the DB 701 Vest system 2 years ago when I decided to drop the belt. Instead, I chose a competitors system which was cheaper. I used that vest for 2 years simply out of spite, from paying for a subpar product. Finally, I bit the bullet and invested in the 701 system with a Flux pouch and assorted accessories. I was immediately happy with my decision the minute I opened the box. The amount of adjustment available is overwhelming at first but once it's figured out, the vest becomes custom fit to your individual liking. I got the optional shoulder pads, which are a must in my opinion if you plan on using the vest for anything other than a stylish night out on the town. The whole system is comfortable and I instinctively know where everything I carry is because the options for storage on DB products are well thought out and appropriate. The company may be on the bigger side of size but you wouldn't know it dealing with them. Customer service is beyond what most companies strive for these days and I had every question or concern answered within minutes. The exchange option is such a small detail that most companies don't even think about, but DB has incorporated it. Making swapping out products a breeze. Granted I live within 45 miles of their distributor so shipping was fast but they had it on the truck within 12 hours of paying for my order. If you can't tell by now, I've developed a lot of respect and admiration for DB with this order. I probably won't need another vest system for years to come, but I will tell anyone who listens on sites that DB is the only toolbelt company worth giving your hard earned money to.

As a full time framer the vest investment has been noticeably better than a pair of suspenders. I was sceptical at first to have this setup over the summer months, but it has proved to not be a problem at all. Overall to anyone wearing a pouch for 8-10 hours of your day. I highly recommend this product. Diamondback has giving allot of attention to details on everything I have from them so far amazing and I look forward to future products.

Best tool vest I ever used, perfect to fit all of my hand tools and plenty of space for materials. Takes all the weight off my waist, makes it more comfortable and Mobil , best investment

I was very surprised how comfortable the vest was. With the vest it feel like there is no weight at all. The only downfall is that it is extra layer in the summer but it is very well vented. The best purchase I made in a long time.

This vest is comfortable and spreads the weight of the pouches evenly across the shoulders. Days are gone of having to pull my belt up over and over again throughout the day.
