I picked this up to replace the basic hammer loop I’d been using, and it’s a big step up. The way it holds the hammer keeps it from swinging all over the place, and it’s easy to slide in and out without looking. Feels secure but not annoying to use.

I mostly do DIY home improvement and woodworking in my garage, but even for hobby stuff, having a holster like this makes a difference. It’s built tough like all Diamondback gear, and I like that it stays put whether I’m standing, kneeling, or climbing a ladder.

One thing I really like is how it attaches behind my tool pouch. It keeps the hammer tucked in close and out of the way, so it’s not swinging around or bumping into whatever I’m working on. Makes a big difference when I’m working in tight spots or trying to be precise.

It’s a bit loose for a Martinez hammer. Feels like it slides down a little too far. The whole head of the hammer almost goes inside the holster

This is a very comfortable and nice holster.

I use a Martinez m4 hammer and when I sit it in the holster it drops so low I can barely grab it. I need to push it from the bottom to get my hammer out of the holster. And it arrived with some melted plastic on the rim of the holster. Hopefully that doesn’t affect then overall integrity of the holster. There’s something in the bottom of the holster my hammer keeps hitting and not going into the holster properly. I couldn’t imagine having a m1 Martinez hammer or any other hammer over 14” length as that would become an even bigger issue
