Q&A:

What do you find most enjoyable about working in the trades? 

I love the atmosphere of the job site. The constant change of scenery job to job. Almost 20 years in the trades as a carpenter, I couldn’t really imagine doing anything else. As a general contractor you also can’t beat the camaraderie between myself all the sub contractors I use. I’m a tool belt on GC so being on site , working hard, and problem solving together is seriously the best.  

What do think is the biggest misconception about working in the trades? 

That we are low on the totem pole and can’t make a good living. 

What attracted you to Diamondback? 

Damani Harrison of course and the fact the systems are readily available. That’s just what DB is, a system. You can transform your belt or vest into ANYTHING you want with all the pouch & accessory options. Some days I need a full rig and some days I only need a couple accessories attached to my pants belt & Im good to go! Tremendously outstanding customer service too, some of the best!! It’s an honor & privilege to work with these guys & gals. 

What is your favorite DB product and why? 

The hammer sleeve was/is an absolute game changer for me and still one of my favorite things no doubt. It’s been 5 years now since my hammer has wacked me in the leg, knee or the back of my ass haha
