This will likely be the only Diamondback item that doesn’t receive a 5 star review from me as everything they make is top notch and the quality on this item is no different. The only reason the GK1 pouch loses a star is in its utility. As others have mentioned, the main pouch isn’t big enough for most 25’+ tape measures. It works well with a small amount of fasteners but for the price, I prefer the DB Sax for fasteners. The main pouch is a little too wide and shallow for most tools other than a tape measure, it could work if the pouch had a way to tighten up like a synch at the top. Finally, because there is a logo on one side and an attachment strap on the other, the pouch kinda limits you to be used on your right hand side to fully maximize all the storage available and I prefer other pouches / accessories on my right hand side. Other than that, the build quality is great and I could see certain applications where it works just right for your needs. For me it works best as another organizational compartment on my tool bag that can be pulled out and used when needed.

As others have mentioned, any tape measure 25'+ either fits too tightly or not at all so may as well go with a dedicated tape measure pouch or just use the clip. If you have a few fasteners it can work as a fastener pouch but not as well as a less expensive DB Sax. The main pocket is too wide for most commonly used tools so they would just fall out, it would be nice if the top of the pouch had a synch or strap to tighten it up. Finally, if I am using as fastener pouch or something else, it is limited to needing to be on my right side to maximize its usability as I like to use the small attachment slot on the outside for a screwdriver, pencil, etc. and this slot doesn't exist on the other side (where the logo is) so I can't use the pouch on my left side as easily. For now it is a nice store pouch in my tool bag but not used as often as their other great pouches and accessories.

Best one yet for tape measure.

I keep my tape in the main pouch, and a pair of smallish pliers and a 6 inch rule in the sleeve pocket. There’s room for a few smaller things as well

Perfect pouch for a 25' tape, holder for multiple bits, pencil, pen etc. Convenient clip on design for easy install or removal
