Q&A:
What do you find most enjoyable about working in the trades?
Being able to visually look at what we've built and created. It's a very rewarding feeling and I hope it never gets old.
What do think is the biggest misconception about working in the trades?
That everyone from the younger generations don't want to work in the trades. At least here in the midwest. I started roofing houses when i was 14 years old. I have worked in the trades every summer/year since and I'm currently 26. Everyone I have hired has been from the younger generations. I really think the older generations are pushing kids towards college degrees and not the trades. For some people a college degree is great but there's still a lot of kids out there that would rather work with their hands.
What attracted you to Diamondback?
Instagram honestly, I'm big into lifting/working out and I read that the belts are designed like a weight lifting belt and thought that made a lot of sense. That's definitely what attracted me towards the Diamondback toolbelts.
What is your favorite DB product and why?
The Denali 2.0 toolbelt. I wear them everyday and the longevity of my back and career from a physical standpoint relies on them. As well as getting the job efficiently.
Favorite comfort food?
Cheeseburger and Fries
