This is very well made, just like all DB items I've received. The clip is made of very thick metal, which seems like it will last a lifetime and never break. BUT, it does not fit inside electrical tape without deforming the roll.

Still 4 stars because of the quality

works great for my tempo lite belt

I use the tape loop for many things. It’s super light so you don’t notice it’s on your belt but when you need it and it’s there it’s nice to have. I’ll hang my bit carabiner on it, sometimes a whole roll of masking tape or other large rolls of tape, the clip to hold something temporarily, I’ll probably find more uses as time goes on. I’m new to the diamondback system and am really liking it.

Love a good tape leash

I really appreciate the intention of making a tape loop that is removable, but most rolls of electrical tape do not fit through the clasp. I'm basically using it to keep my sets of 120/240 and 277/480 tape together in sets since I have to take the entire loop off to get one roll out.
