What do you find most enjoyable about working in the trades? 

I have the pleasure everyday of teaching, learning, and growing everyday in the field, as a business owner, and on social. Providing an inviting opportunity in the trades to the next generation is of the highest priority.

What do think is the biggest misconception about working in the trades? 

The stigma around working in the trades as a last resort is dying. There is prestigious and fulfilling careers in all aspects of designing, building, and creating the structures our society relies upon to enjoy a comfortable life. My earliest aspirations as a child were to be a business owner and I’m the proud owner of an elite local deck building company, providing elite quality to my clients, stable employment and benefits to my team, and knowledge to other craftsmen worldwide.

What attracted you to Diamondback?

What is your favorite DB product and why? 

My 701 vest is the foundation of my on hand tool organization. The level of comfort and customization has changed my productiveness and comfort to another level.

Favorite comfort food? 

Shepard’s pie!! My father makes an absolutely killer dish I could eat every day of the week
