I have been wanting to order the 701 Vest for years now but had a hard time justifying spending that much money on it, I went on for years buying the cheap belt from HD and other places and then I got to a point of carrying most of my tools in my pockets and being extremely uncomfortable because tool belts hurt my hips and I couldn't wear them while doing interior work. I started doing research and came across the tool vests and very quickly decided the Diamondback was the right choice for me, all the other vests looked way to bulky or cluttered for my needs. I finally pulled the trigger on the Maestro vest and used it for the first time last week, and let me tell you I absolutely love this vest. I am able to carry all the tools I need comfortably, and up on a ladder and plank without carrying a heavy tool bag up with me. There was no pain in my hips and back at all, as a 47 year old window and door installer that was amazing, I was able to wear a safty harness under the vest as well. The only thing I didn't really care for was there is no D rings (Like I thought) to hand my bits from, so I am trying to figure that part out still. I do carry a "Wonder bar" every day and I ordered a bar holster which should be getting delivered tomorrow but if I can't carry my Wonder bar in that I will return it and get another hammer holster because it fits perfectly in that, I will have a hammer holster on both sides.
This vest is 100% worht it even though the price of all the products might be a little steep it is worth it so far. I will also say the small tape measure holster barley fits a 25' fat max and definitely can not fit a 25' Milwaukee tape so I may have to return them small one and get the big tape pocket. But I am still trying to figure out how to set it up right for me.

No matter what I’m doing I have this on me. Works great with 25’ but also 16’ tapes. Drops in easy, pops out nice, but never falls out either and I have the older model. The new one with bottom hole probably even better. I use the loops for Pica’s, Sharpies, knife, and bit holders. Really great addition to the 701 Vest but I also use it with regular work belt.

This holster is wonderful! I traditionally carry a 25' Fat Max tape measure, but after purchasing this easy clip-on holster, I've been carrying a 30' Fat Max because of the ease of placing and removing the tape in and out of the holster. The bit holders are an added bonus, but nothing beats how convenient the clip is to apply for a variety of positions on both my Tempo belt and Vest. Great job DB!

Enjoying it so far!! Been using it to hold different drill bits,pencil,sharpie,penlight, etc.

Fits my milwaukee 25 foot tape perfectly! 35 foot doesn't fit but it's perfect for anything smaller!
