Love not having my hammer smack me in the leg all the time and having it right at my hip for quick draw. Cats paw holder along side it is equally convenient. Only thing I wish is it had a better way to attach it. The nut/bolt sticks out a little and the strap comes undone occasionally.

I picked this up to replace the basic hammer loop I’d been using, and it’s a big step up. The way it holds the hammer keeps it from swinging all over the place, and it’s easy to slide in and out without looking. Feels secure but not annoying to use.

I mostly do DIY home improvement and woodworking in my garage, but even for hobby stuff, having a holster like this makes a difference. It’s built tough like all Diamondback gear, and I like that it stays put whether I’m standing, kneeling, or climbing a ladder.

One thing I really like is how it attaches behind my tool pouch. It keeps the hammer tucked in close and out of the way, so it’s not swinging around or bumping into whatever I’m working on. Makes a big difference when I’m working in tight spots or trying to be precise.

It’s a bit loose for a Martinez hammer. Feels like it slides down a little too far. The whole head of the hammer almost goes inside the holster
