It’s a pocket for your speed square, but it is so much more. The Diamondback modular Speed Square Pocket can act as the foundation for your own personalized non-dominant side pouch. The webbing strip on the outside makes it possible to attach any Diamondback clip-on accessories, so you can build out the Speed Square Pocket with a multitude of combinations.

Constructed with Diamondback DiamondSkin (a 1000D nylon and textured vinyl laminate), the Speed Square Pocket will hold its shape indefinitely and hold up to the most vigorous work conditions. The pocket attaches to your belt, vest, Go Panel, Spine, or Pants Belt with two spring steel DB Clips.

Genius Idea!

I recently purchased this product to solve the issue of not having a dedicated speed square slot on my vest setup with my Mazo & Clavo pouches. I bought this pouch and have it attached to the back of my vest and it's been a wonderful addition.

Almost didn't like it.

A lot of times I'll be doing small tasks where all I'll need is a square, tape, and pencil (and maybe a drill or hammer) so instead of ruining my pants I made a trim belt. The square pouch was a welcome creation, however...
I feel it's a bit oversized for the tool and the attachment loops on the outside are so tight it is hard to hang a nail pouch from them. I initially gave up and threw it aside.
Then you asked for a review. So because I really believe in how DB works to make awesome stuff for us tradesmen, I'd have to give it a fair shake. Back on the belt it went. I ended up hanging the slingshot pouch from the outer lip instead of the loops. It works but the clips scrape my fingers as I retrieve the square, which, for me, rides too low. If it were the size of the square slot in say the Elias 2.0, and if the attachment loops were say 2mm wider, that would be awesome. It does accept the DB Sax great but I prefer to be a bit more slim.
I love the concept of it, but in my opinion it needs just a bit of tweaking.
